Early some mornings, if I could drag myself away from the computer for a bit, I would turn on the TV and catch the end of "Jane and Dragon", a kids show put on by Weta (the same company who had done special effects for Lord of the Rings). Being somewhat biased towards anything with a Dragon in it, I would watch the last five minutes or so of the program while I ate my breakfast, or finished my morning chores.
Eventually I got around to looking up a full episode on youtube. Then followed it up with another episode. Then another.
Before I knew it, I was looking for the entire series and had gained a bit of affection for the quirky and thoroughly lovable characters.
Based on a series of books written and illustrated by Martin Baynton. Weta picked up the project as it's first venture into children's television, and I would have to say they created a gem.
Rather then give a synopsis or complete character rundown here, I would recommend checking out the wikipedia page, or looking up an episode on youtube.
As for the pic itself...well, Dragon is a hard guy to draw...
