The conclusion of the 1334 season of Circus Charricus was mired in drama, with the final race causing a complete upheaval of the top seven warbands' standings. Of note being the Nitro warband dropping down from second to fourth despite RC Nitrocide taking first in the race itself, after a post-race inspection deemed their fuel system out of specification. A questionable choice as the updated design was installed five races ago without any raised concerns. Nitro challenged the result all the way to tribune oversight, where the penalty unfortunately stayed but a recommendation was also given to the Centurion Commissioner regarding further regulatory overhauls.
Thus began Circus Charricus's new identity in 1335 as a multidisciplinary racing league. A variety of machines for dirt, tarmac, and everything in between, including several races that reintroduced armed vehicles, but as before, only a single primary driver per competing warband. Most of these drivers have adapted reasonably well, but RC's underground racing exploits came into full view, sweeping the first six races with ease. The season seems all but over already, but RC shows little intent on ever slowing down.
