Well i was going to get Intel's i7-2600K Sandybridge processor but Intel freaked out over a problem that occured with computers that uses 3GB RAM so they decided to recall ALL of their processors and frankly I couldn't wait another month and a half for a new computer. So I was stuck with an i7-950 3.01GHz processor. TT_TT But it's better than this...thing...*kicks my "computer"*

same with intel :p also i like amd's prices better

Hehe yeah they're cheaper but it comes at a cost of performance. AMD's 6 core processors barely matched on par with Intel's i7-920 4 core processor x3

it really depends on what you are looking for. it doesnt all come down to simply the clock, both cpus act differently in different situations. For example the amd phx6 1090t will outperform in multi tasking where the intel 920 will outperform in single application speed. Though both are incredibly fastand most consumers will not notice a tremendouse difference except in benchmarking. :) im getting the phenom x6 in the near future

With me I don't really multi-task except for like maybe playing SL and listening to music or watch a vid on youtube or something :P
