The first time getting Polly and Maya down as characters after a lot of bullshit sketching, last year. They're Brooke's new roommates. I ended up compressing Polly's body a little more in future iterations.

mousie gal blind or not id cuddle her day and night and never let her feel alone.. odd. i honestly cant see out of my right right... aka half blind. youd be surprised how well the brain over time adapteds with one eye... i mean its no 1080p more like 720 but until i thought of it... i didnt realise i was blind in one eye.... hmmmmm... god.... maybe i shouldnt have remembered
I have a similar story to that. I’m not blind or half bind, but I do have near-sighted vision. I didn’t get diagnosed though for most of my early school years. Wasn’t until I was about 10 or 11 years old that someone figured out there was a reason why I didn’t do so well reading stuff on the black board unless I was sat up at the front where the teacher could ‘keep an eye’ on me. They thought I was just being a difficult student, and of course I never told them that I was near-sighted because ‘that’s how I’d always seen the world, so how would I know any different?’
When I first came out of the Opticians with my new glasses on and immediately read (with wonder) the sign above the shop door on the other side of the road, my mum starting crying as she realised how much I’d been missing out up to then 😢

I know most people see blindness as a disability but I'm betting Polly doesn't let that get in her way.
My sister has no peripheral vision & is slowly going blind. She's doesn't let it get her down though & is fiercely independent. A lot of people are just trying to do what they think is the right thing by helping out but she likes to try do things on her own if she can. It boosts her confidence when she can do things by herself. She's quite an inspiration.
