This is Pyttapyk, as you might have guessed from the title. She is a ratfolk... well, rogue, basically. And she is enjoying the nice weather and some cheese that she definitely did not obtain through any underhanded manner. Pyttapyk promise! ;)

For a couple of years now I have been running Dungeons & Dragons in my homebrew setting. Pyttapyk is one of the more memorable NPCs from the first campaign I ran. She is from the "Fantasy Asia" part of the setting and started out working for the bad guy. Got one of his henchmen out of prison. But when she finally was faced with the player group and saw how the handled the other minions her reaction was "Pyttapyk give up! Pyttapyk not paid enough to die." They decided to let her live and even go. However, she hang around them for a while. In the culture she is from balance is important, so debts must be paid. And when that was done (and the players decided to go on a month-long expedition to far-away jungles) she continued to haunt the city, sneaking around at night and filling her portable hole with cheese. When they get back they even helped her against a monk from her homelands who was sent to bring her back. And after many further adventures the player characters hired her as a sort of head of security and spent far too much time trying to convince her that she can just buy cheese now and doesn't have to steal it anymore. I'm sure you can guess how successful they were :)

This wonderful picture was done by Ascar_Angainor. For a while I had this image in my mind of Pyttapyk sitting on a bed and writing in a book while holding it with her feet. Rats have those cute grabby feet and it makes so much sense for them to use them all the time for stuff like this. And I was thinking for a while that Ascar would be perfect for such a picture. I really like the way she draws rats. And when she opened up for commissions a couple of days ago I jumped at the opportunity. And I couldn't be happier. Just like Pyttapyk herself. And who can blame her. Good weather and lots of cheese. What else could a Pyttapyk ask for? Well, maybe more cheese ;)
