In the universe, the star system based on the Titan A.E., remembered the 2000 American Science Fiction Animated Film, the home planet Sesharrim, homeworld of the Gaouls.
Planets of the Sesharrim System
Rastar: A planet close to the Sesharrim’s Star, The planet has a molten rock surface.
Aleksandra: Also known as Folaoq, a volcanic planet in the Sesharrim’s system. It is the second planet from the system’s sun. It is named after Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna Romanov, the mother of the titular protagonist of Don Bluth and Gary Goldman’s 1997 film Anastasia.
Nikolaes: Also known as Ogar, is the third planet in the the Sesharrim’s system. It is an oceanic planet that the Gaoul, have tried to colonize due to it being supposedly suitable for life, but never really succeeded. It has one moon. It is named after Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, the father of the titular protagonist of Don Bluth and Gary Goldman’s 1997 film Anastasia.
Sesharrim: is a planet in the Titan A.E. universe. It is part of the Spiral Arm. It is also the fourth planet in its a star system. Its name comes from the Gaoul language, “sesh” meaning “home” and “arrim” meaning “world”, so its names literally means “home world”, as it is the homeworld of the Gauol, Sesharrim is a distant world in the Spiral Arm, not known about or visited by many travellers. The planet Sesharrim is a ruddy-red color, covered mostly in oceans of red liquid, much like what Earth’s oceans would have looked like several times in the Proterozoic eon. It has a thin atmosphere, which is breathable to humans and the native Gauol. Sesharrim's surface is mostly rocky, comprised mainly of islands made of black rock. Some of the islands contain ruined monuments, possibly former cities of the Gaoul. It is hinted that the planet was once devastated by the Drej, but not to the point of total annihilation. The planet also has two unnamed moons, one of which has a large piece missing either from a past Drej attack or from a collision with a larger celestial body eons ago. As a result, this moon was given the nickname "The Broken Moon" by Sam Tucker and used as part of the first clue to find the Titan. Sesharrim is the home of the Gauol, a bat-like species who allied with Sam Tucker during his development of the Titan, and his mission to hide it. Sesharrim's oceans are also covered in "Hydrogen Trees", large globes that are prone to explode once breached. Sesharrim was the place where Sam Tucker learned of the technologies that could be used to develop the Titan Project. During his stay, he developed a bond of trust with the Gaoul, and left them with a message to help guide Cale on the search for the Titan. The crew of the Valkyrie visit Sesharrim during their hunt for the Titan, as it is a checkpoint on Sam's map. Cale is summoned by the Gaoul leader and shown to raise his hand toward the Broken Moon, which (when Cale's hand is aligned so that three stars are between his fingers underneath the moon) programs the map's compass to point to the Andali Nebula, the hiding place of the Titan.
Yavinpiter: Is one of two gas giants in the Sesharrim System and the fifth planet from its sun. It has 32 moons. Its name is an amalgamation of Yavin, a fictional gas giant from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope in which its largest moon was used by the Rebels as a base for their destruction of the Death Star, and Jupiter, the largest planet in Earth’s Solar System.
Stormtant: Is one of two gas giants in the Sesharrim System and the system’s sixth planet. It has 27 moons.
Occorpmi: Is an icy planet in the Sesharrim and the seventh planet from its sun. It has one moon, it was nicknamed the “Frozen Moon of Occorpmi” by Sam Tucker.
Nepatu: Is the eighth planet in the Sesharrim System. It is a barren ice planet. The Valkyrie crossed Nepatu’s orbit before Upatos’ ice ring on its journey to Sesharrim. This may indicate that Upatos is closer to Sesharrim’s sun than Nepatu at some points in its orbit, similar to the orbits of Pluto and Neptune in Earth’s Solar System.
Upatos: Is a frozen, rocky planet in the Sesharrim System. It is the ninth and furthest planet from its sun, Sesharrim’s sun. It is surrounded by large rings of ice and rock. The Valkyrie crossed Nepatu's orbit before Upatos’ ice ring on its journey to Sesharrim. This may indicate that Upatos is closer to Sesharrim’s sun than Nepatu at some points in its orbit, similar to the orbits of Pluto and Neptune in Earth’s Solar System.
