This is based on a T-shirt design that randomly came up during a google search. It was so "him" that I had to use it for art somewhere. I switched "remain silent" with "stay quiet" because the former sounded too much like he was being arrested.
I needed a way to convey his behavior mentioned on the shirt. So, their premise is loosely based on The Monkees episode "Monkee Mayor." The mayor wants to turn the entire neighborhood into parking lots so they get the brilliant idea of having Mike run for mayor which will stop the current mayor from destroying every home in the neighborhood. In the end, Mike finds he is in way over his head politically.
