15 year old redraw
https://www.deviantart.com/echobatg.....cies-614589056 Can find the oldest post here of her that I could find/still own.
Skylight Fire is part of a species of Cartilaginous fishes (chondrichthyans) which represent an ancient radiation of the gnathostome vertebrates characterized by having calcified cartilage but little or no bone internally, and rarely any in their scales.
The only bones in her body are her skull and due to this while she looks like she has 'body structure', if she is on land she can bend her joints both ways as her muscles can't keep her full weight fully upright. She works/swims/walks faster while still in the water or in hip deep water.
In a way she is an invertebrate, but not fully as she does have her skull and teeth. Because of this she can squeeze into very small spaces as well; meaning if her skull can fit through it, her entire body can fit through it(eventually). Due to her weight and hips and shoulders, she can get a little stuck so it will take a bit of effort to get through something or a tight crack in an underwater cavern.
After 15 years she finally has a name: Skylight Fire.
This species is closed due to this being the only one I've drawn of it (with the exception that I drew a male but it was a traditional art and Idk where it went and all the biology I was working on making them. Be aware the Species might already be named so this information is subject to change and I will update everyone as I find my information... which is... somewhere... Ahah....
But for now her stand in species name is going to be "Chondrichbrates" (A combination of both the scientific name for her and for invertebrates.)
