Might have been working on some more songs for my upcoming release than originally planned. This ep thing might almost be in album territory with some new and weird ideas I've been having this weekend.

This one is an idea I had to recreate the vibe of Obsidian by Meshuggah to create this long, drawn-out but simple groove with a lot of ambiance/atmosphere using a variety of rain and thunder samples. This is just a short part of the full song and has yet to have guitar or bass tracks added.

Still, it sounds really interesting, 6/4 time with heavy tape delay effects and simple, slow synth melodies to create this disjointed and slow feel with the rain to glue it all together.
