Finished this sucker, first drawing of Nar- I mean, Pride Month, heh. It's based off of an old CG picture of Hawker P.1121 fighters as a means of showing off the prime RAF jet fighter of the 1960s and 1970s, the Hawker Hussar. One of the last designs created by Sydney Camm, legendary designer of the Hawker Hurricane, the Hussar was intended to serve as a fighter-bomber in contrast to the Fairey Skyshark, English Electric Lightning, and Avro Arrow serving as the RAF's interceptors. In addition, it also saw service with the Fleet Air Arm as the Sea Hussar, flying alongside the Sea Phantom and in both services, was at the forefront of the Great Pacific War where they fought admirably against the Co-Prosperity Sphere. They would be flown until the mid-90s after fighting in both the Falkland War and the Guinea War, after which they would be retired from British service though they remained in service with other countries such as Yemen and Kutch well into the 2010s.
