The many characters of 'Fanged Fatales' are all my beloved-if-sometimes-horrible fictional children, but I hold a special fondness for Mittens' dad Manfred Malone (black wolf). I guess it's because the most 'human' of the bunch? (HE FLUBS BUT HE TRIES) Relatable to me (wimp, low-esteem) I never knew either of my grandfathers, so I don't write him as one so much as a (slightly older) father fig for Knashford, who considers Manfred to be Most Trusted Adult despite him living in another state. So we have here a late Father's Day tie-in plus a slight tease for the next multi-part comic. Go hug a wolf (anthro or feral) to celebrate!
