The two musicians, Tiarchnach and Almasi, both spent their sunday together doing some fun activities, walking and talking. Near the end of their evening they had some ice cream together as the two sat up at the edge of the mountain on a cliff.
A lone wooden and humble bench surrounded by vegetation, trees, and a dirt road leading back was facing the sunset on the cliff as it observed the town the merry band lived in. Tiarchnach and Almasi shared laughs and jokes with each other as they licked the sweet taste from the ice cream.
A mild breeze and warm sun had their flapping jaws shut as the fox smiled over the town. Almasi kept her gaze on her friend and smiled along with him. A flush of light red filled the lioness' face, but before Tiarchnach noticed her staring she turned her eyes to the town. The view was magnificient.
In the end both Almasi and Tiarchnach just sat in silence as they finished the rest of the ice cream before heading back to their homes.
The duo stood up from the bench and the wind shot a mild gale at them.
'It was nice to see you again, Almasi.' Tiarchnach said in the soft tone he always spoke.
'We totally had a blast, Tia!' - Almasi proudly and loudly proclaimed. The lioness grinned happily as she placed one of her hands to her waist with a slight sway.
'We did!' The fox replied. He amped up his enthusiasm, pumping both his fists to his chest, albeit girly. Almasi replied with a warm smile.
With a quick turn Almasi began walking to the dirt road home. Her inner feelings were about to come out and she got nervous. In equal swiftness Tiarchnach grabbed his friend's wrist and held her still.
Before she could say a word the fox lunged forwards as he turned her around and embraced the lioness. His arms wrapped around her body as his snout found its way to rest on her shoulder.
Without pause Almasi hugged Tiarchnach back and placed her hands around his waist and back. Her eye let out a joyous tear, she could barely contain her emotions.
Tiarchnach's heart raced in the bravery he showed to himself by opening up and giving his friend a hug. It was like the two of them said a million words within the span of mere seconds.
Once the breeze settled they let go of their hug but kept the hands on each other's shoulders.
Both being nervous wrecks one had to open up his or her mouth first, Tiarchnach took the challenge. 'We have to go home now, but... I will call you on the phone!'
Almasi had a slight shake in her body, like a hound seeing its master come home. Her excitement was nearly palpable.
'Like... We should totes do that!' She replied with equal excitement that her body language had.
But before parting ways, Tiarchnach noticed that Almasi had a single tear felling down her cheek. 'Almasi, is that... Are you crying?'
Almasi jumped backwards and yelped much to her embarrassment. She ran off from Tiarchnach to her home, face full of rose colour. 'NO!!!'
Tiarchnach tried to run after his friend but she was much too swift for the soft man to catch up with. 'Waaait! Come back! I am sorry if I did something wrong'!
As Tiarchnach arrived to his home he was worried he hurt Almasi. The fox gave her a call and within a second Almasi picked up.
'A-... Almasi! I am sorry!' Tiarchnach said with so much remorse high enough it seemed he was bowing.
But in turn she cut him off and said 'Nononon-nono! I am totally the one who should be sorry! I ran off, duhh! Like, you did nothing wrong! Hella my fault!!'
A slight silence ensued before someone dared to speak again. The nervousness weighed heavily in the air.
'I-uhh... Like... I'm Super duper sorry, Tia. I just got so happy. Like, I don't meet people like you, and you're like my BFF. I was happy to have that moment with you and spending the whole sunday with you for the first time ever! I wanna do it again for sure!'
Tiarchnach didn't have much to say other than expressing gratitude and relief in a heavy sigh. 'Yeah, I would like to do it again too. And of course, you're my best friend also, Almasi.'
'Ok, okokok-ok. siiiigh' She replied as she collected herself for the next thing she wanted to say.
'I'm, like, down in town by sunday for some fun stuff again next week. Do you wanna, like, go and hang out again? Hoss gave me this fighting game that I, like, totally suck at. He says you're totally an genius or something at the game!'
Tiarchnach obviously accepted Almasi's proposal to spend time more time with her again. As the sun kept disappearing over the horizon they talked nonsense about this and that just to hear each others voices until bedtime.
