Hey everyone, this is what I have cooked up for Father's Day. It was a little something to celebrate this special day, to honor Dads everywhere.
Ingredients:
6-8 boneless pork chops
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
Salt
Garlic powder
Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy seasoning
1-2 eggs
1/2 cup crushed pretzels
Step one: Preheat your oven to 350°F, then take out your pretzels. Put them in a 1 gallon resealable bag, and use a rolling pin to crush the pretzels.
Step two: Season your all-purpose flour with the salt, garlic powder, and Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste. Seal the bag, and shake up the contents to blend. This is important, since this is where your flavor will come from. Seal the bag after tossing the pork chop in, and give it a nice little shake. Shake off any excess flour before proceeding.
Step three: Beat your egg(s) in a bowl with a fork. Creating an egg wash for your crushed pretzels. Then apply your egg-coated pork chop to the bag full of pretzels, and coat the chop with the pretzel coating.
Step four: Repeat steps two and three, until all of your chops are coated. Discard any leftover pretzels and flour mixture.
Step five: Toss your pork chops into the oven, and time them for 1-1 1/2 hours. Make rice, or another side dish within thirty minutes from the chops remaining time.
Step six: Let the pork chops and side dish cool off for five minutes before serving.
And enjoy!
From Chris: For the temperature, I would recommend a bake / convection bake of 375 F in the oven at least - though you could always use your air fryer as well for a quicker cooking time.
