It's half past six and the sun is setting on the Great Forest. A young equine witch Erika strolls to her garden to tend the new flowers she had planted recently. Though it was early spring, the sun was already at full warmth and the trees had formed a soft comforting canopy over the trail that lead to the garden. She gazed at her sanctum with a warm smile and sat on her knees. Most of her precious plants she gathered throughout her years in the apprenticeship and she went to great depths to tend them and to keep them protected from the elements and pests. The somewhat chilly tiles beneath her knees began to emanate an emerald glow as Erika channeled the aether through her fingertips towards the watering can. Sure she could just use her hands to do the job but why would've she built a conjuring circle in her garden if she were not going to use it? Besides she always thought that keeping aether flowing through the nature is just good manners, not that others would necessarily understand her.

Decided to practice on making a proper background for my character. It was a huge piece of work but I think I learned a thing or two! Decided to also introduce one of my characters of a fantasy world I'm currently building! I am very satisfied with the result though I do see a lot of room for improvement. At least I feel confident that I can work on such sceneries in the future which is always a relief! :)
