And Especially to my wonderful mate Fire!

I don't usually do color pencil pieces, I've never felt that I have a good command of the medium, but I'm pleased with this one. I also commissioned a poem to go with this gift for my beloved:

Fifteen Ways To Say Three Words

It's never hard to speak through our bodies, to put everything out
in no more than an eye glamour. And please let me show you,
channel each “be mine” promise through hand-touch trinkets,
singing to it through synchronised heal-toe across the bedroom:
just for the peak of pearl beneath lip as you beam back at me.

Trust me, it's easy to show those thoughts in everything we do –
a collage of domestic adventures in the land of you-and-me.
I can orchestrate a welcome home from your favorite foods,
if you'll greet me with that drawn-wide grin? Yes I'm an addict,
I admit, any chore topped with that smile is worth all my time.

Let me wake to your fingers strumming my heart, and sleep
only under your soft eyes. With a wife like you, tell me how
I could plan out every day as anything but a testimony to you?
If I could have a valentine's wish for us both, it's simply this:
a kiss numb all worries and bring out those smiles, endlessly.
