Self-repair can be difficult.

It's not straight forward, most of the time. It requires strength and finesse in varying measures, depending on the damage, and endless amounts of care and consideration. Sometimes you spend days on a method that goes absolutely nowhere. Sometimes things just click. A lot of the time, it burns, and it always takes effort.

It's absolutely worth the endeavor.

Many thanks again to  eyrich for this piece from years ago. It's from a time when I had a lot of personal work to do. In a lot of ways, the work is still in progress, but I'm miles from where I was, and better off for it.
