Love your jacket but I prefer the asylum ones myself. The Posey is more restrictive but I love the Humane Restraint (With the side loops). It's made of actual heavy canvas which makes it stiff as cardboard until you work it in a few dozen times. No matter how loose the arms are you are not getting out plus you can put padlocks through the buckle holes on the belts which will make it impossible to remove without the key and another person present. Another thing to mention is the HR jacket is FAR more comfortable to wear over long periods of time. I could wear it comfortably easily for a few days. It's hard to do that with any other jacket.

I know of a guy who can get HR custom made products but if you are in the US there would be a bit of back and forth between Europe and the USA before you get it. It's a mess around but boy is it worth it.

I know what you mean about loving wearing it. It feels so good. It annoys me that I can't wear mine as often and long as I'd like to. the only thing I dislike about wearing it is the phantom itch that just jumps out of nowhere to annoy you.

Humane restraint jackets are nice, but I like the look and additional loops/straps that mine has more tbh. It’s cool that you could add padlocks to the HR one tho! Mine is made of canvas as well, pretty heavy duty overall. And I’d totally get a Posey if they were still produced. I might get a replica at some point.

Custom made HR products? Sounds interesting! How customized are you talking? Does that include HR straitjackets?

I don't know how custom you want it, Side and front loops, quilting, Felt collar, twin crotch, wide crotch strap, 5 back straps or Grommet back? Yeah, they do it but I'm not sure what you are asking for.

OK. I have 2 custom ones from them. One has the 5 belts with side loops and another that has grommet (Lace back) with side loops. In America you can't order them but I have a contact in Europe who can help you out. It's a bit of back and forth in shipping but it's definitely do-able if you want and can afford it.

I ordered my Posey a while back before they stopped production. I could get out of it then but not now. Perhaps because I grew into it or because It shrank, either way it's a benefit to me.

You can never have enough, that's the problem. It's an expensive hobby that's for sure. Just to note, The replicas feel and act EXACTLY the same as the originals. The only quality difference is in the buckles. Secure but not to Posey standards.

Ah I was just curious what your contact was able to create is all, not looking for anything specific rn. Though the description of your straitjackets sounds awesome! Do you have any photos of them?
