This is my first attempt at writing a poem in french. I know that there are spelling errors for the simple fact i couldnt find out how to get the french vowels on notepad, but I tried my best.
the translation of it is....
love is like a dog with out its master,
love is like a bird with out a song,
love is like a soul with out a mate,
love is like a book with out pages
love is like a river with out water.
