“I still don’t get it…” The blue equine looked down at the dark kitten, her hands placed
gently on his own.
“What’s there to get? I said yes you big idiot~” She replied, a teasing smirk betrayed by
the blush on her cheeks.
“I just don’t get how I got… You…” As Norah opened her mouth, he stopped her,
shaking his head. “No, I know, I shouldn’t question you or how you feel about me. But it's still
just… It makes me happy to know I got so lucky with you sweetheart.” He tugged her hands
gently, pulling her in for a slow, soft kiss. Midnight held her in his arms, the small kitten pressed
into his chest as he nearly picked her up in excitement while she wrapped her hands around the
back of his neck, tiptoeing to grab him around his neck with a golden ring shimmering in the
moonlight on her finger.
As they pulled back, once again smiling at each other, she let out a small laugh and
blushed harder. “You are making me feel like a kid again… I want to know why me instead of
my daughter, you could have had such a younger woman in your arms if you tried half as
hard…”
“Firstly, you shouldn't put it like that. Neige would beat the hell out of me if I tried.” He
said, shuddering a bit as training memories hit him. “Secondly, I wanted you. Your daughter is a
great friend, but I love you Norah.”
“I love you too Midnight… Now and forever.” The pair embraced again, the lovers gently
dancing under the moonlight to the music of their heartbeats syncing with one another’s. Under
