The difference between merely having a cup of tea with a friend, and experiencing a cup of tea with a friend.

Another brief vignette, which popped almost full-formed into my head because of two reasons. First, I have been kicking around an idea of writing something where the dialogue was minimal and I dedicated the prose to more than a sense of sight. To draw attention to sounds, smells, a feeling of a calm and serene atmosphere... the other reason was seeing a video of a Japanese tea ceremony crossing my YouTube recommendations.

And in that case, there was really only one choice of who to write about.
