IDK if Alpha Dream is dissolved or if this upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder is their big comeback project(the art style of the game looks EXACTLY like the art style of Mario & Luigi games from Dream Team onwards) , but I hope Partners in Time isn't the last we've seen of the Shroob in Mario games. Seriously tho, I hope I haven't gotten my hopes up from how the one boss we've seen looks suspiciously like Dark Bowser from Bowser's inside story. If we see any Alpha Dream Mario characters like Fawful, Midbus, that Koopa Reporter lady, bean people, the French Question Block Man and his question block pets, I will lose my goddam mind with happiness!
Seem unlikely, unless the Switch 2 comes with peripherals that turns it sideways to play DS emulations or can simultaneously play on the tv and on the console itself through a wireless Bluetooth or USB port connection to the console dock, like the Wii U gamepad, but portable. Partners in Time just had so many dual screen moments that would either have to be left out entirely or heavily altered.
And tbh, I would rather them make a new M&L game entirely, like one where you team up with Wario & Waluigi to defeat an evil sentient treasure, possibly one possessing Wario's oft neglected nemesis, pirate Captain Maple Syrup.
