Ryen's species is an intersex species that communicates via throat and tongue clicks. Their reproductive cycle lasts for 1 month and only happens once a year, however they can give birth to hundreds of children. His species reproduces asexually and via selective phagogenesis. They have little problem giving birth. His species, often times called Slug People, are quite small compared to people, with their length being only the size of an average human. Despite communicating with clicks, patterns can be observed indicating a complex communication system, and despite being intersex, they do have a sorta gender, with a translation being, "With Chest," and, "Without Chest."
