I was rather puzzled on what to do for this. First instinct was to draw a castle since I know I used to draw a lot of those as a kid. Ended up going with my childhood home I grew up in and stayed in until I was 19. I want to redraw this once I get more skilled with landscapes, architecture, and nature. Do some real justice for the house that was such a foundation and nest for most of the creativity that lurks to this day. From restless nights of seeing demons to having figures battle it out in the bath. Just. So. Much. Too much to write in a submission description, really. A bit sappy, sure. But it does mean a lot to me.

ANYWAY less about the piece's significance and more on why the heck I did it. The whole point is to see what symbols are embedded in my memory from childhood with zero references to go off. Some crude shapes but I think it at least is "readable" to tell what most of the stuff is. Rectangle/square doors, windows. Arch windows. Broccoli shaped trees. Round rocks. Round roof tiles. Etc. I think it's kind of common for these symbols overall?
