Syp and Mery found a a old irken ship while they were constructing a ship of their own inside giant scrap pile, the ship was functional and pretty much in good shape with a few scratches and such, the duo went inside of it thanks to Syp's hacking skills and knowledge of old technology , wandering inside Mery found something that look like a stasis chamber and that it have a life form in it, Syp manage to easily hack into the chambers controls and open to see who was inside of it, it was a irken tall as a elite, he was alive and well and for the duo's surprise he have no PAK and actually could survive without it.

The irken then wakes up and sees the duo and confuse them with children because of their size, Mery clarify that they are adults and the irken was appall for that statement, the he tries to stand up but he was still weak from the stasis, Syp and Mery helps him and gave him some treats and soda to made him stronger, the irken then says his name is Xam and asks on where is he and what year is it, Syp responded to him that he was on a trash planet and that he was on specific year. Xam was shck to know that he was 75 years into the future from his time.

Syp then asked him for many things, including the symbol on the ship, Xam tells that the ship was his father's and the symbol belong to his mother family... Syp was confused, what's a family? what's a father? he said. Xam then look at both carefully and sees their packs and then he knew at that point the harsh truth... his people where defeated by the Irken Empire and assimilated... Kex's plan to destroy the family unit and parenthood was successful and irken race was nothing but a society where the government was a god to it's people, which disgust Xam up to his stomach and made him sad he will never see his father and mother again.

After that Xam was give a removable PAK made by Syp so he can used to hide his lack of PAK, Xam didn't like it but he didn't want to get the attettion of the Irken Empire yet, then Xam decided to study the use of PAK's and learn from there both Syp and Mery volunteer and on his studies Xam discovers that there is a device that supress growth the growth perhaps to keep the Tallest population low, since the taller the irken the better the position for it despite if they are competent or not something that Xam's people didn't agreed on.

Xam then removes this device from both Syp and Mery and in matter of months both of them grow to be as tall as Xam and well Mery for some reason develop a pair of mammal like bags on her chest despite irkens being more of a insect types, Xam wasn't surprise he remember his mother use to have some of those but Mery where... pretty big and make Syp feel... attracted to her.

The trio manage to finish their ship using Xam's old ship as the main part, making a ship big enough for a crew of a pair of dozen irkens, and after Mery says her goodbye to her adoptive father Merk they went into space in search for answers.

After sometime they manage to encounter a escape ship, with a irken inside, he was a elite warrior with scars all over his body and despite being weak he still could fight, Xam and Syp help him recover from his wounds, he ended up to be one of the Mean Greens and his named was Zeg, Zeg wanted to go back to planet 66 to save a old friend but he was conviced by Syp that would suicidal since the planet surroundings where surrounded by a galactic storm it couldn't be possible, Zeg then decides to join them sine for him that death sentence on planet 66 was his last stray with the Empire and he blames Elya for that. Xam checked Zeg's PAK for the anti growth device but Zeg didn't have one explaining his size, but Zeg muscular and toned body was because of his harsh super elite training under Commander Zir, a well known and respected Irken Commander.

After sometime, the crew saw the destruction of a planet that was invaded by the Empire and they went to investigate, Xam went to see the planet shattered pieces and for his surprise he fond a pair of irken girls who somehow survive, one of them was injured and lost her left arm, Xam help them by carrying the unconscious Nya on his arms and well start developing a feelings for her for that moment on.

Xam manages to make a new arm for Nya, but at that moment Nya wakes up with Mya on the room and she sees she have no left arm and panics, Xam and Syp went to help Mya calming down Nya, Xam manages to over power her and tells her to calm down Nya does so.

Xam then manages make the same treatment on their PAKS to both Nya and Mya, both them grow as predicted and develop more attractive sensual bodies and since they were twins they pretty much look alike except on their colors, Nya become even more attractive to Xam and Xam decided to spend more time with her to know her better, Nya was a little confused at first on this interest but Xam prove to be a great listener and Nya was gla to have someone like him around, also he made a her a new cybernetical left arm and over time she develop a love interest with Xam.

Sometime later the team receive a signal from a barren planet where a ship have crashed into, the team went to invaestigate and it was of irken origin and the survivors were begging for help, Xam, Nya, Mya and Zeg went to the ship crash landed, found two little irkens named Rabu and Mazz and they told them then a third irken was trapped inside the wrecked ship, Zeg solve the problem with explosives against Syp's idea of using a laser but it work anyway, once Zeg opens the metal door he then looks at them third irken, he quickly became irritated, shuts the door and walks away saying that irken is not worth saving, the irken inside quickly begs t be save as well being angry for what just happened, Xam, Nya and Mya alongside Rabu and Mazz open the door and they saw a female tallest... her name Elya and she was taken by them against Zeg's wishes.

Xam gives the same process as before to Mazz and Rabu and they grow, specially Rabu. On the other hand Elya's growth was interrupted and sabotage by Kex, which surprised Xam that he was still alive, and instead of her becoming the next Miyuki as it was intended she was never going to be as tall as her gene mother.

Xam then purpose all them to become a rebel team, most of them got screwed by Kex a ancient shadowy figure int he Irken Empire that uses his intellect and influence to control it for his own personal motives.
