Well....sorta new, heh. This suit was originally a red zentai suit with fingerless mitts that I had for about, meh, lets say six months. I decide one day (Sunday, February 6th) to make a suit out of it that I had been wanting for so long.
For years I wanted to own a Carnage suit, but it was either that no one was selling it, or no one would do it. Those who made them only did it for their own personal costume purposes. So when you want something...sometimes the only way to get it, is to make it yourself....and thus I did <^.^>
Saturday= Decided to make Carnage suit....had whole day to think plan through.
Sunday= Gathered pics for references, and started making long fingered gloves with lycra I bought from the fashion district of Los Angeles.
Monday= Cut off tips of fingerless mitts, and begun sewing on Hands to suit
Tuesday= Finished sewing gloves and tested finger motion with cotton stuffing and foam support
Wednesday= Cut out black mesh material pattern for face, along with foam eyes....pinned into place to prepare sewing.
Thursday=Started sewing face, and cut open mouth pattern.
Friday= Finished sewing face, and started painting body with black fabric paint bought from Wal Mart (pink paint for inside mouth)
Saturday= Completion of painting body....tested body suit....eyesight good, fingers are posable, lycra is breathable....suit is awesome
That night I debuted it at the monthly SoCal furmeet I go to called Prancing Skiltaire....which naturally I got mixed reviews of those awed by my latest creation...and those who were freaked out
I showed my suit design to my dad and little sister (whom I both live with). My little sister likes to critique my stuff by saying were I can improve (lol) while my dad see's this as a possible money making opportunity. He wants me to make these suits to sell them. X3
So the question now is will I make these suits to sell? Well....if the offer is pleasing, or if we are talking something of a trade that equals to both the materials and the time I put into making the suit
So what do yah guys think?

I dont like Spiderman either. I just like the symbiotes <^.^> .
Carnage is the symbiote offspring of Venom. A piece of Venoms suit got left behind in a Mental Hospital when Eddie Brock escaped from his cell when the Venom suit found him and helped him escape. The remaining piece of the suit crawled its way into another cell nearbye and found Cletus Cassidy. It joined with Cletus, thus creating a new symbiote because the emotions that Cletus had (psychotic behavior) was transferred over to the symbiote offspring. Thus you have Carnage. An even more sinister symbiote than Venom.

I'm more a Venom fan than a Carnage fan, but I always loved those symbiote guys, since my childhood. <3
I have a silly question though, since I want so badly to paint one of my suits : did you painted over the suit without anything inside it, or with a mannequin or something like that inside to see exactly how it would look with you inside ?

Im actually a TOXIN: Son of Carnage fan and I have that suit as well <^.^> . When I painted the suit I used Tulip fabric paint.....I stuffed the suit with blankets, clothes, towels and pillows to widen the body so it gave the impression that it was being worn so that the paint would not rip if it was compressed then stretched.
I really like the job you did here! Great interpretation for the suit markings :3
Do you have any tips for painting the zentai suit? I've been planning on making an OC costume for years and I'm finally ready to attempt it. But nothing ready-to-buy quite works, so I'm thinking of painting/airbrushing/sewing some details together on a solid color zentai suit to get the look right.
What kind of paint would you recommend, and how much bleed through (and sticking) was there on the inside of the suit while you painted?
The concept art I'm working off of is this, though the markings might get more complex as I finalize them:

Thanks <3

I suggest using Tulip Fabric paint. You should be able to find some at a local art and fabrics store.....or, Wal-Mart and Target.
When painting the body suit, you should "stuff" it with either towels or blankets to expand the fabric......then, simply paint your pattern on the suit. Expanding the fabric allows the suit to have plenty of ability to stretch even after being painted.

Thanks for the tips! I figured it would need a DTD or somesuch inside to keep the paint from splitting. Have you had any trouble with the painted areas sticking to themselves in storage? I think I recall having that happen with some t shirts when I was a kid.
How many bottles did you go through? I remember the tulip bottles being rather small, and you did a lot of work here! I'll likely end up doing at least as much ^x^;
