After an extremely long and harrowing fight to the death against two Upper Moons, the band of Demon Slayers celebrate their newfound victory, as well as Nezuko's sudden conquering of the sun.
Sooo S3 of Demon Slayer ended, and the final episode...good god i already knew what was coming and I was STILL in tears ;3;
On a whim I decided I wanted to redraw one of the final shots where Mitsuri brings everyone into a group hug. (with a few slight creative freedoms so that EVERYONE is in!)
Here are the anthro headcanons-
Tanjiro and Nezuko - Tanukis
Mitsuri - Red Panda
Muichiro - Deer
Genya - Badger
Kotetsu - Squirrel
I'm pretty happy with the final results! A nice sendoff for S3. I can't wait for S4 and how they plan on adapting the Hashira Training arc - because it will be one step closer to when shit REALLY goes down! ;)

bruh, Nezuko basically telling the sun "Nah, bitch, i dont feel like it" threw me for a loop, i had NO idea demons were capable of getting sun immunity like that, also, i swear that 300 year old sword ROARED before Tanjiro took down Upper Moon 4, but that couldve just been the flames popping up as well, but i like to think that the sword itself made that sound
Oh yeah, I can imagine when the manga was running and that chapter dropped it was already a big deal, but with how much the anime was being hyped (I mean shit, Times Square ran ads for it AND Crunchyroll's servers crashed from traffic overload!)...I imagine a LOT of anime onlies had their minds blown!
AND YEAH I don't care if the mangaka says that the visuals in the breathing style are only visible to the audience. THEY'RE JUST AS TANGIBLE IN THE SETTING ITSELF DANGIT ;V;

I have a FEW headcanons for some of the other Hashira....although Obenai and Shinobu still escape me! (It will be important that i think of something fitting for Shinobu and her siblings....preferably not an insect anthro since I prefer to keep within the realm of mammal and avian anthros >w>)
