We got on our goardabons and made the made dash to the provincial border with the heavy thumps of their hooves following us. It will be a few days before we make it there, but luckily these mounts are bred for endurance and mountain travel. We will have to skip the supply depot at Molablo in order to make it to the General's Assembly in decent time. Even then we may be late; the preparations at Alsangborg took longer than expected and then we were held up at the checkpoint at the Plains-Forest border. Messenger crows have been coming in and out all day in a flurry even as we push our great mounts to their limits for speed. I wish we could have seen more places but we can sight see on the way back.
