None know too much about Chris "The Monocle", and even fewer know how his left eye lost its function. The observant wonder why a man of his age remains in his line of work, but the keen speculate there must be something about his talents that kept him in demand for this long. Rumor even has it that he found some giant lizard to cave in some heads for him; is finally slowing down, or has his effectiveness doubled?

I drew what became "Chris" on a whim in an one of my first submissions here. Did this up as a means to study and practice portrait drawing! I learned that I have a habit of holding a pencil only one way (check the difference in shading between the cheek bones) and that I gotta work on my symmetry a little more. Also have to practice drawing smaller eyes.
I'll have a portrait for the lizard character up this week, naming him and giving him a small blurb about his life. Maybe these will both end up being DMPCs like a certain young human and burly bugbear...
