MARKLES REF SHEET GO.
So yeah, here's a lazy little ref sheet for the Markles species.
The male Markles ae ALWAYS taller than the females, and usually by at least a head. Their ears are much longer, and their elbow and hoof fluff is more "sharp" than curled like female Markles. Male Markles are usually warm colors, such as red, orange, and yellow, and their snouts (errrr whatever) are longer than females as well. Also, they usually have black markings around their necks and on their shoulders with their color in the center. (for example, this male Markle has red markings since his fur is red) Their tails are the same warm color as the rest of their markings. The little indent in their hooves is always colored with the complimentary color of their main, uh, color. >_o
Usually, adult males shave off the hair on their tails and keep the plume at the tip. Younger males still have the fluffy tail, but no marking on the back like the females.
The female Markle, who Zsele voulunteered to stand in for, is a lot shorter than the male. Most females are cool colors, like green, blue, and purple. Their ears are smaller, along with their snouts. Their elbow and hoof fluff is more exagerated and curled a lot. Usually the tails are poofed and curl at the end, and most females wear big bows either at the base of their tails or near the end (Zsele, on the otherhand, doesn't). Their markings are a lot more complex than the males, even though it doesn't seem like it. They also have the black ring around their necks, bot a loon triangular marking goes down the middle of their torso, and branches off on their hips, resembling a sort of bikini look. On their backs, it's the same thing, yet the black triangular marking bleeds into the base of their tails and make a sort of pinched oval shape on the tops of their tails. Just like the males, their hooves' indentures are usually a complimentary or secondary color.
To differentiate the species even more, their horns are alike in shape, but not entirely. Male horns are pointed sharp, and only have the two bottom curls branching off, while females are curled, have two sharp edges branching off the main part of the horn, and two sharp bottom branches.
Their horns' bases are very strange, as they branch out from a small cylindrical base at the top of their head. Hair grows around that area, but never on it, usually making the front part of their hair seperate from the back. (see Zsele's ref to understand better) They can have any hairstyle, from short to long to none at all. I just feel these hairstyles fit them best. x3 Also, they both have large round dots at the bases of their ears.
WHEW THAT WAS LONG.
