Thank you for bringing awareness to this. I love the art, it is spot on to what I am sure a lot of us feel like is happening. I wont lie, I am feeling a bit depressed about the whole thing, i was hoping I could muster up the will to draw some stitch for the day, but nothing is coming out.

Especially since canonically, Stitch IS 18 years old thanks to the Stitch anime, (Not the og cartoon, there was an anime from 2008 to 2013) specifically the season 3 two-parter titled Stitch's birthday XDXD And that anime was a disney project, so it's official. As far as the mouse is concerned, Stitch IS 18 years old. So FA SHOULD make an exception for Stitch if they're going on a case by case basis!

there was a time skip, then there was a later Chinese anime that takes place between the original cartoon and the Japanese anime. When it comes to movie/tv cartoon characters, I consider a character's official age to be whatever the owners of said character says it is, whether someone in the show says it, or the owners of said character say it. And if there's multiple series involving said character, especially if it jumps in that character's timeline, and has times skips, I go by the oldest age mentioned. In this case, Disney, through the Japanese Stitch anime, says Stitch is 18, therefor, he's 18 at the oldest officially. Now, any art involving him in Hawaii, without any context to show time had passed, like the older Lilo for example, also seen in the anime, being somewhere in the art, or something, I would consider highly sus at at the very least.

Actually, the Chinese series is on a separate timeline from the anime; the whole thing about it taking place before the anime was just the fandom's belief when it first came out. In fact, the show ends with Stitch still living in China with a major lingering plot thread unresolved. (There was a second season planned but Disney never greenlit it.)

Afaik, I haven't seen the policy being much enforced though, at least for dubious cases. So Stitch seems to still be fine.
