Now, THIS style I don't do so often anymore. (I should change that.)

These visual things often happen when I'm in that kind of mood halfway between "eleven nightmares per nap" and general surrealist brain vomit sessions...

...like recently, when it's been raining for days and I haven't seen the Sun long enough to make me switch to a different kind of insanity. (Insanity, like most things in life, has its "flavours".) This one was one of the more well-made mindbarfs.

You could consider "Face Value" a poem on human nature, or a narrative story only told within the time you donate to understand it. In any case, don't judge the unusual without knowing it better. :)

Done in pencil and dye pen, taking about an hour, with a smidge of post-production in PhotoShop.
