This is the main promotional image for my Artfight account this year. I had this idea where I'd make the recently-designed Nompy the "mascot" of something (because I really didn't know what to do with him), and decided that he would be the star of my Artfight page for the coming event and that it would have this theme of "land-sharks" to take advantage of the fact that I already had two other characters who could be called 'land sharks,' and there would be a new front page design & new character icons & new chara renders with a unified art style & custom-designed merch for sale with Nompy's face on it... Easier said than done.
On a related note, I was shocked to realize I hadn't really cultivated many new characters in the last business year. So, if you want me to promote a one-off charac I've drawn to join the roster, leave a comment under this journal.
