Here is the Mallin head finished up.
The plastic mesh part was made by Zoren, the rest of the foaming, furing, detaling was completed by me.
I have to say that I was a little dissipointed how the eyes came out. I was a little rushed to complete them. I think It could have looked nicer if I had some brown paint to give the eyelids more definition and shading. Also now looking at the pics the eye on the right could use some work. Follow me eyes are so difficult and for some reason everytime I put them into a mesh and foam heads they are always at diff angles, I think this has something to do with how the mesh fits the head or maybe having the foam bridge of the nose not 100 percent sysmetric with the plastic mesh... or even the foam going on at a slightly diff angle somehow...
At least the eyes do not cross this time and have a nice follow-me effect. That was a problem I had with a earlier otter head which I made. Apparently there is a eye socket recess width the eye opening can not cross or the eyes appear to cross and wont follow properly.
I think I will be sticking to toony eyes from now on if I do a head for another person as they seem to be a little easier to control how they turn out.
Over all though I think the head turned out alright
