Artwork of my Gloomstalker Ranger, Cheyenne Stonehammer.
Cheyenne was adopted as a young child by Helga & Heidi Stonehammer, & grew up in the small town of Bessimer. Lacking a green thumb, Cheyenne shadowed Heidi in her work as a tunnel scout & healer. Given her larger build, keen senses, and naturally stealthy manner, Cheyenne was trained to one day join the ranks of the scouts, practicing stalking, ambushing, and tracking in the Underdark. When she came of age, Heidi & Helga encouraged her to explore the wider world, perhaps fearing that their daughter would come to regret never exploring the overworld before consigning herself to a life in a world where the sun never shines. Armed with her weapons, gifted a set of serpent scale armor, and secure in the warmth of her mothers’ love, Cheyenne set off to find out what Fate held in store for her. Shortly after arriving in the city of Steelport, disaster struck and she was nearly abducted by bandits. Only the timely intervention of a passerby prevented this fate. The Lizardfolk, a Barbarian by the name of Ghost, kindly took her under his wing, teaching her how to survive in the wider world. In return, she’s been watching his back.
