Sometime after watching season 4 of "Lego Monkie Kid", I was inspired to write a self-insert fanfic of me being isekaid into the lego adaptation of the chinese classic "The Journey to the West" and see what would happen if I not just appeared as a 5th celestial primate, but to also change the fates of my newest favorite character: Azure Lion. Also inspired by the "Owl House" series, my OC, XiaoHou (魈猴), would be using glyphs. Each of the 4 glyphs are design-wise based on 4 of the 5 elements of the Wu-Xing. (the character for metal felt a little too complex to convert into a 5th glyph. Not sure if I would make a pink glyph based in the chinse symbol for "mountain"...) (>w<u)
in the original owl house series, there is light, ice, fire, and plant
In the fanfic I am writing, the ight glyph would take on the characterisitcs similar to the chinese character for earth, ice glyph based on "water" character, fire is fire (no duh), and lastly the plant glyph in the fanfic will be based on the "wood" character. To make the designs simple and yet unique from one another, each glyph have a metric and mathematical relation with each other. One interesting detail is what happens if you overlap them, it creates some sort of 5-pointed leaf-like pattern. (0w0u)
The center is my signature emblem I would use in various isekai-based fanfics. (>w<u)
