The end of every chapter in life brings the opportunity to start a new one. Sometimes, that means revisiting a chapter you closed long ago, and to the friends you left behind.
I've had this idea sitting around unfinished for a couple years now, but I decided to use my writing muse while it made a brief reappearance and get it finished. It's a little sad in spots, but the ending is a happy one. Also, Alaric's in it, and he's hot, so it's got that going for it, too.
