American Dragon was a cool show. I remember it being one of those shows for me where I felt very pulled in. The feeling that you want to live and act in this kinda world and want to be one of the anthropomorphic critters. Other formats like Lion King have done that for me aswell. After watching such films, as a child I remember becoming almost kinda sad that our world does not correspond to these qualities.

I feel the same way. The fact of growing up when we were children and realizing that fiction isn't real and animals being not able to talk, or even the non-existence of anthropomorphic creatures was honestly overwhelming and devastating of course. I remember watching Jake Long and wishing to transform into a cool ass dragon and such
