Some people with astigmatism and myopia which their eyes does not tolerate extremely accute contrast differences (i am one of them) have to deal with halation effect and focus issues.
this compromises heavily all the digital drawing experience even your drawing skills, because, due to the prediminance of blackish tones, your pupil forces to open more, resulting in focus problems, eye strain/aches, loss of distance perception of the canvas and so on.
REMEMBER KEEP YOUR DARK MODE BRIGHTNESS AT 50% TO 60%, DO NOT USE TOTALLY DARK MODE!!!
