Every majestic lion needs a profile pic of his noble head: Simba, Scar (heck how i love bad boys), Kimba, Aslan, Kovu, Lambert the sheepish lion just to name a few.
So enjoy Lioanus mighty view guarding over his territory. For a twohundert year old big cat statue he still looks fresh and stunning.
Overviewing the pedestrian zone of my hometown Wuppertal he might have seen so many events and tragedies:
Rise and fall of the Ratskeller restaurant located in the major´s house followed by the Maredo steakhouse with the same fate in 2020.
And for an nteresting fact: Lioanus eyes look directly into the building of my former optician, a chain called „Rodenstock“ where i got my first set of glasses more than 40 years ago. Gone too...😞
