I only can think of two possible scenarios!
- You meant it as a joke, or
- you got annoyed not find the proper cutie mark for your character so you just put a pistol on him to finally move on with your artwork!

but in MLP universe i think this cutiemark means something little less harmful... for example, that he's a keeper of an ancient weaponry museum or something like that. to fit the MLP universe ^_^ but who knows... dark AUs and Fallout Equestria exists xD

I may say unfortunately. :(
To me, that mixture feels like making a pie which the recipe swapped the sugar to salt.
Everything else is the same just one ingredient has been replaced to an another.
This is how I feel towards 'dark AUs' and 'Fallout Equestria'. Just as like swapping sugar to its opposite cannot work, swapping be together to kill each other shouldn't work either.
But, I also saw they are popular. And it saddens me both ways.
1) I might be wrong thinking it's bad, or
2) there are so many people in this world, around me, who are so wrong and the have the abilities to turn good to bad. :'(
Apology for doing much philosophy. Just ignore them and I'm fine and keep myself being around to see your next artwork.
personally i think i can consider myself a dark brony. even though i love cute stuff and original show, i also love gore and horror stuff with all my passion xD and i know that it's really wrong. i don't think that a healthy minded person would like stuff like that actually
i usually blame it on bullying in school and my depression. aaaand maybe seeing 'cupcakes' stuff as a teenager. with time it becomes like stress relief or something... seeing how creative people torture characters is really interesting! xD it just definitely shouldn't be accessable for children
