I think the switch to my trad/digi hybrid art is gonna be a permanent one (outside of shitposting) some of my art will have commentary, though will lean on more positive stuff and as casual reminders to myself as I go.

I'm going to start doing my art for me and to work on actually enjoying my stuff again.

I think a lot of things contributed to me not sharing my actual art and feeling proud of it to be honest. whether it was fighting an algorithm, competition from larger artists, being in places where they only favor art if it's from big name artists.

It got to a point where feeling like sharing stuff outside of adopts and everything made me feel disappointed in my art and question my abilities as an artist. It made it feel like I needed to give up my art, a very key part of my being, because I wasn't "appealing"

That's going to change.

I'm not making my art marketable or "appealing". I'm making artwork to be happy with and to bring joy to those who see it. I don't care about trends in art, but will use techniques to try to improve and push myself to the limit.

I want my art to feel like my art again.
