Just To Clarify and Where to Find Me
My biggest problem with the ambiguity of the policy update is that with it effecting those with cute styles, part of the issue is that it's not considering that we most likely draw off-model in order to show a character is underage. That we treat on-model as adult. I hardly ever draw and post underage characters on here because obviously I'm mostly doing NSFW (and I don't want people acting gross about my underaged characters), so how the hell are mods supposed to know how I draw kids??
With my style being cute, obviously I'd want to make underaged characters even CUTER than the adults, so I'd draw them off-model. THIS INCLUDES EVEN "BABY" STAGE POKEMON/DIGIMON, because I don't consider "on-model" to be them underage especially considering they can stay that evolution forever with the use of an everstone, cancelling the evolution, or just never getting enough friendship points to evolve. As Pokemon/Digimon don't really have defined signs of aging (other than freaking elder pokemon I guess), obviously I'd make my own rules for what they look like underage in my style. (Sometimes I also use canon clues from the pokedex such as Vulpix having only one white tail when they're young).
But yeah, I feel like a lot of issues would be avoided if FA just clarified what the heckie they mean or just ya know, require people to draw an age chart in their style and have it somewhere on their profile????
Either way, with my gripes on the situation aside. I have no idea what will be going on with my FA with this whole situation being up in the air. I don't know if I'll have to be mostly SFW except for drawings that use the 'average body-shape' anthro. I don't know if I'll have to leave FA all together. -shrug-
