Also, language changes and art style shifts are two of my favorite (yet bafflingly underutilized) expressions of a changing reality and to see them married in this comic makes it an instant favorite. Keep up the good work!

My Japanese is very much translated so I'm not sure if it's perfect, but I'm glad the art style shift and language shift are enjoyed! :D

Well, I'm not a Japanese speaker either, so it makes no difference to me. In fact, the mere use of Japanese text is for the better: it always annoyed me how in non-game media Pokémon spoke exclusively in name-calling, so now instead of just her own species' name I can imagine this Lopunny is saying something relevant to the situation (even something as simple as "What's going on?").

As for the thought to make an alt version that way, props to you for having that instinct! I think the integration of features from actual manga makes a huge difference here.
