Jon is a person who is... troubled, but has issues talking about them. A rough upbringing that has shaped him to be someone who he is today that he never seems to be able to shake off in his new life. Some days, he feels trapped, alone in a world that would never understand him and with a future he is not sure about. He built up a wall around himself to keep out many, giving an air that people want to see rather than know him. Very few have been able to break the walls around him.

One of them is a wolf-leopard named Ripley Havon, someone he holds close to his heart. He's helped Jon feel normal in a sense, giving him a rock in the river when he needs it and giving him much needed comfort that most others couldn't give.

Like now, after a bad night of nightmares and terror, Ripley is there to hold tight.
