Just watch out though, cuz he's kinda deadly... like, demonically so. And he's also the mascot of my new sketchbook.

For some odd reason for the last few years I've had this tradition of naming all my sketchbooks, mostly because they're like children and come with me everywhere I go whether I use them or not. Only I've run through all my usual names...

So... stupidly I asked twitter to name my new A5, Blue-covered sketchbook, and this is what struck me most.

Dr Darkheart; Too bad it isn't red or I'd have suggested the Satanic Leaf Tailed Gecko. That thing is badass

So that's what I managed to google and then draw. It's harder then it looks putting a lizard into anthro-form, but I think I pulled off a badass kinda look.

Anyway, his name is now Azul, also thanks to Dr D. The image is drawn in pencil, and with a little bit of creativity the "background" and name all now all styalized. That was really fun, and it's inked courtesy of someone who left a pen in my office, which is a bonus. It'll sit behind the semi-clear cover and be seen when you look at it, so I wanna make it spiffy.
