This is Mark Sander's point of view about the story "Shine in Your Eyes." Chapter 59.

It is a tribute to my friend and wonderful writer Zider  Ben Zider who wrote one of my favorite stories about love, life, and the irreversibility of fate.

When his wives went home, Mark was finally able to look out of his room. Still limping a little, the man looked out into the corridor. Of course, the nurses placed a walking stick by his bed - ...but the man wrinkle his nose and chose to ignore it.
"Something must have happened, and they finished their operation..." The man thought, noticing that the police had removed the guards from his room.
So after looking around, Mark limped further down the corridor, and no one stopped him when Mark looked into Lillet's room. Mark approached, taking a closer look at his close friend's partner.
"Well, hi. Are you still resting?" Asked the man, although of course, Lillete did not react to his words.
"I'll beat you up if you don't wake up now." Said Mark.

The man sighed.
"Wake up soon, Esteban will worry about you when he gets back." Said Mark.
"Maybe we didn't get along too well together, but I also miss your company around..."
Mark said stroking Lillet's head and ears, then with a sigh he turned around and slowly limped his way out of the room.

Cuando las esposas de Mark se fueron a casa, finalmente él pudo asomarse fuera de su habitación. Se levantó cojeando un poco y miró hacia el pasillo. Las enfermeras habían colocado un bastón junto a su cama, pero el hombre arrugó la nariz y optó por ignorarlo.
Al ver que no había nadie alrededor, Mark avanzó por el pasillo hasta la habitación de Lilethe. Se acercó mirando más de cerca al lifemate de su amigo Esteban.
"Bueno, hola. ¿Aun descansando?" Preguntó el hombre, pero Lilethe no reaccionó a sus palabras.
"Te daré una paliza si no despiertas ahora". Agregó, para luego suspirar.
"Despierta pronto Lilethe, Esteban se preocupa mucho por ti. Tal vez, no nos llevamos bien, pero también extraño tu compañía." Dijo Mark acariciando la cabeza y las orejas del skunktaur. Luego, con un suspiro, se dio la vuelta y lentamente salió cojeando de la habitación, para volver a la suya, sabiendo que, al día siguiente, podría regresar a casa. Sin embargo, le apenaba la idea de que Lilethe, aún no pudiera hacerlo.
