The older, and occasionally newer Winger Art would fit this bill quite well. It is a hidden secret that back in the days of FURNET (a piggyback to FidoNet) he had quite normal characters. I still have quite a bit of his art from those days.

It was only later, when he stumbled across the internet that his ladies began drinking liquid H2, then morphed into the ungainly and though undesirable, still humorous creatures that we see today. This character could quite easily fit into Wingers late '90s style of art.

I've not seen much of his stuff lately. Where's he hiding out these days?
