The attire he is wearing is from the 1500's, long before Julius or Rosette's time.
I wasn't sure what he was thinking or seeing in this image, but given his history
and travels, I believe he is watching mortals go about their daily life, indulging
in things that he neither understands or could ever hope to experience. Such
instances would be a leading factor in his desire to leave court life and explore the
world, to see things with his own eyes instead of reading tomes amongst his own kind.
