Wouldn't stop the victim from pressing charges. Under international law, an undesired alteration to one's body would count as mutilation. And the victim at the very least has a witness who could testify as to what they wanted, that being their grandfather. It wouldn't be that hard to prove that there was either a misfiling or that the paperwork was altered after submission.
The company's main business is biological modification, therefore people use the services to specifically get tf'd, so it wouldn't be held liable if the client filled in the order incorrectly to what they invisioned, that would be the fault of the client themselves not the company. And as said above they confirmed the supplied order and got verbal confirmation. So in the end this would be more buyer remorse and change of mind then error on the company's part
It's still a problem. First off, this would technically be considered a form of voluntary medical procedure, of which you're able to opt out of at as late as the very last minute. Secondly, again, it could easily be proven that these documents were altered either by a third party or the organization itself. Again, the victim could confirm, with their grandfather (who I'd assume he talked to regarding this given the context), what the original intention was. Documents only work as evidence if their validity can be established.
Furthermore, the verbal confirmation doesn't even qualify here. The confirmation given was just a simple "is this information correct" question without even giving the victim the ability to review the documents, nor providing a verbal read-back. That's not sufficient by any means. In fact, generally this would require a signature of consent, and even then that consent can legally be revoked at any time.
Of course, this assumes actual consumer protection AND medical ethics laws are in place. It would be easy to say that wherever this is taking place they don't have those laws.
