
This is more or less the final version of the Mardi Gras bracelets that I'm hopefully going to be mass-producing. I royally screwed up the first batch by painting them first, then burning them, then applying the coating; the end result wasn't very pretty, and the bracelets look off-center because the crown wound up in the green, which was originally on the left (with purple in the middle and gold on the right). This was done rather quickly (in under 20 minutes), so the paint isn't as good as it should be. I'll be taking more time and working with other people when we do the full 400-batch.
New process: burn first, then apply the gold stain, apply masking tape to ends of gold, paint green and purple, then gloss.
